Mar 01, · This guideline covers recognising, diagnosing and managing attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children, young people and adults. It aims to improve recognition and diagnosis, as well as the quality of care and support for people with ADHD.
Use this guideline with NICE’s guidelines on service user experience in adult mental health and patient experience in adult NHS services to improve the experience of care for adults with ADHD. The principles also apply to children and young people, and their parents or carers.
This NICE Pathway covers children under 5 years, children and young people aged 5 to 17 years, and adults aged 18 years or over who are at risk of ADHD or have a diagnosis of ADHD.
